Most Bulldogs have a good amount of wrinkles. Wrinkles can be on the face, body, or even the backend which is commonly referred to as a tail pocket. These wrinkles need to be tended to a couple times a week, if not daily.
It's never to early to start cleaning your bulldogs wrinkles. The earlier you started the less problems you'll have with your bulldog fighting back over time.
What you will need:
1) Gently take a baby wipe and clean out the
wrinkles making sure you remove all dirt and debris which can cause a foul odor.
2) If extremely red or raw apply small amount of diaper rash cream in place of
the powder. If the redness or rawness is under control apply small amounts of
Medicated Powder or corn starch to the wrinkles in place of the cream. Be
careful not to allow the dog to lick the medicated powder as it can upset the
bulldog's tummy (corn starch does not have this effect). If using corn starch,
make sure the wrinkles are completely dry before applying. Corn starch does not
hold off bacteria as well as medicated powders (but it doesn't harm the tummy).
3) Give your dog a treat for letting you clean their wrinkles.
