Narrow Nostrils also referred to as stenotic nares, is the narrowing of the air passage at the tip of the nose preventing normal respiration to occur.

Signs of narrow nostrils is

 

Although stenotic nares are present at birth (congenital ), clinical signs of respiratory difficulty often do not begin until the animal is several years old.

 

Treatment usually involves surgery referred to as rhinoplasty which widens the opening of the nares.
